We have finally received in all of our Mim Pi Fall 2008 collection, and it is superb! The styles are gorgeous, and the colors are unique and very fun! Dragonflies and Ladybugs boutique carried the Mim Pi brand several seasons ago, and we have always loved it, we picked it up again this fall due to popular demand from our customers. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at the huge response that we received when we posted the new line. We have picked up more in each style and new styles as well. If you have never heard or purchased Mim Pi Clothing, I highly recommend reading our synopsis into the designer here and checking out the fall collection on their website.
Designer Eleonora Nieuwenhuizen states, “You are what you look at, or in fact the way in which you look… We catch a glimpse, we get an impression of the world around us, wherever we go. These images embed themselves deep in our souls and become a part of our energy and imagination…”
Eleonora travels the world in search of inspiration: in India, the colours are a great source of inspiration: green-blue glossy paint, the women in their colourful silk saris, old tiles, flower offerings in the temples and even in the cars. But also the panoramic view of the rice paddies on the island of Bali, the temple ceremonies, the Balinese basket offerings, the fruit at the market, the bits and pieces lying on the streets, the colourful sarongs of the women. In China you can also find the necessary inspiration, like the designs on the packets of incense and fireworks. Or in Europe: the old English crockery decorated with roses or old French soap packets.
She believes that each and every person has his/her own individual colour sense although most people are not aware of this. “You can discover what your personal colour is, for instance, by deciding which flowers you think are beautiful, which paintings you like, in shot: what you like looking at,” explains Eleonora. Then you notice that things repeat themselves and that usually a particular colour keeps recurring. That colour is your colour and it can bring you luck and peace.

Me Too Danish Children’s Clothing is known for its bright and colorful designs and their reasonable prices. Me Too Danish design is for small kids who care what to wear. Me Too has established a loyal following across Europe. The children’s mood is stressed by Me Too’s always friendly and wear-resistant qualities at affordable prices. Me Too is ready for Fall season full of eye-catching details, clever mixes of patterns, and colors. We like Me Too for a variety of reasons. It is affordable, yet maintains that European look and feel that makes each piece a unique purchase. The clothing is made primarily from cotton or lycra, no wools or polyesters. The fabrics are washable and easy to maintain. I purchased several outfits for my girls several seasons ago that they still wear today, the colors are still bright, and the quality has lasted the duration of multiple wears and washes. Me Too creates fun mix and match outfits for both boys and girls, and we like the variety and sensibility of each collection. If you have not purchased the Me Too brand before, we highly recommend even starting with one or two pieces. A top maybe for the boys, and a dress or skirt set for the girls. I believe that you will be pleasantly surprised at how much you will enjoy this brand, and your children will receive a lot of compliments and questions on where you may have purchased such a unique item.
Continually being inspired by children’s favorite things, designer Coco Kyriopoulus has not held out for us this Fall 2008 with her fabulous new collection for boys and girls.

Coco has an MBA and worked in accounting and investment banking for ten years. After she gave birth to her children, she quickly realized that she had acquired a mild addiction, like most of us, to buying children’s clothing. It was the business side of her that became intrigued when buying clothing for a twelve month old. “I started to understand the power of a brand when it came to customer loyalty and financial longevity.” In the late summer of 2005, she was looking for a coat for her son, and found her choices to be limited. She described her choices as “Rugged Fleece” or “Sunday School Peacoat”. This was when the light bulb went off, and she started her own company Coco Bonbons.
Coco continues to be inspired by children’s favorite things, and this season is no different. The Fall collection is designed around children’s favorite things such as owls, bulldozers, cats, rockets, dolls, robots, penquins, bears, lions, flowers, and helicopters. “We always solicit input from kids as to what collections they love and what ones they want to see. This fall we focused on expanding our fabrics to meet colder and warmer climates.” In doing so, Coco designed more wools to meet the needs of the Northeast and Midwest and more poplins to meet the needs of the South and West Coast. As a store owner, I really appreciate these aspects in the designer. Being on the west coast in Nevada, we do not wear as much wool here. Our winters are cold, but they do not last as long, and we have more of a need for poplins and cotton fabrics that will withstand our drastic climate changes.
I am really excited to have our store, Dragonflies and Ladybugs Boutique, carry Coco Bonbons this season, because I am inspired not only by her clothing, but by the qualities she possesses. She loves going to work everyday! She has established a business of all women, with the majority being working moms. Since I too am a working mom of two girls, I am more than proud to support other designers and companies that are as well. In conjunction to this, Coco Bonbons donates significantly to local charities. “One of our favorite things to do is to gift children in need or soldiers’ families with our clothing. It is so fun to watch the kids open their presents and put on the clothes with the cutest expressions.” Since I am also a wife of a soldier now deployed to Iraq with his troops, this gives me pleasure to carry and promote a brand that supports our military.
When interviewing Coco, I inquired about her new Spring 2009 collections, she described, “For the girls, we drew more on floral for spring than ever before with bright colors and bold prints. For the boys, we think of spring as a time of discovery and adventure and collection is representative of that inspiration.”

Dogwood Clothing for boys started in March 1988. he company philosophy is to create a quality boys line that has a modern young men’s look withclassic styling. Dogwood clothing wears well and lasts. We really love carrying the Dogwood line in our store! It is all 100% cotton, soft and wears and washes up well. When deciding what to carry for our boys in the store, we always try to pick something that is practical, affordable, and easy for mom’s of boys to take care of.
Dogwood clothing typically runs a bit bigger than most of our regular boutique brands. Although it is cotton and will shrink in the wash, we do not recommend sizing up in this brand. This fall Dogwood has created fun and simply boy long sleeve cotton shirts with dinasaurs, bikes, and age specific graphics. They have also created some great stone-washed denim jeans with elastic waist bands and twill cotton khaki cargo pants. Both go well with everything in your son’s wardrobe. The elastic waist is also a big hit, as it makes it easy for the boys to dress themselves, since they do not have to fiddle with a zipper and button fly type pant.
Make sure to checkout our Fall Dogwood Clothing Line. We carry from 2T up to size 7 years.

We have a new line this season designed by Agatha Ruiz De La Pradathat is not only bright, colorful, and fun, but affordable too. Independent, creative, and idealistic, Agatha Ruiz started out in the world of fashion during the early 1980’s. She has always managed to stay “cutting edge” and away from the mainstream styles of fashion in order to carve our her own style and global language.
Agatha Ruiz De La Pradahas designed her fashion for a new concept of life that has captured the smallest details of color and vibrancy in each piece.
When I saw her Fall pieces in real life at the showroom, I was amazed at the quality of the designs and colorfulness of the fabrics and appliques. These sets are quality boutique clothing at really affordable prices, and this is a wonderful thing during such stressed economic times. Each piece comes with matching tights and/or top. They have a range of twelve months to three years, and they are gorgeous.
I am really excited to present this line for Fall, as I know our customers are really going to enjoy putting these fun, well-made pieces on their toddler. They are really too die for, and I think that Agatha Ruiz De La Prada designs will only continue to grow in the future.
You will absolutely charmed and inspired by the Room Seven Fall 2008 collection. They have uniquely combined Heritage prints together to give your child a more distinctive and wonderful look. They brought in new and fresh colors such as Hot Pink, Citrus Lime, Slate and Mauve. These combined create a dreamy and playful collection that your daughter is sure to enjoy!
Brechtje Olsthoorn grew up and a very close and creative family watching her mother and father design and built the Dutch Children’s Brand: Oilily. After she completed her stufies in 1994, she wanted to do her own things, so she started out by opening a shop in Alkmaar Holland selling a mixture of textiles and antiques that she would discover on her trips to India. Although this endeavor was satisfying, she still had a passion for textiles and design. So she sold her store and began designing an entire bedding collection with her own exclusive prints sold throughout Europe.
After having her first daughter five years ago, she was very tempted by her collections and prints to develop a line of children’s clothing. It was at this juncture that the Room Seven line was born. A colorful mix of checks and prints creates the typical Room Seven signature. Room Seven is now a household name and sold in over 30 countries worldwide.
We are proud to be going into our fifth season with this wonderfully classic brand of European Children’s Clothing, and we know this fall will be a show stopper.
Come in and shop our new fall collection, and see what we have on sale from this Spring 2008. We are sure that you will be able to find something to fit your child’s creative and fun personality.

Lola et Moi designer, Rania Thomé, was inspired to make a difference in the children’s fashion arena after the birth of her twin daughters, Lola and Rea. Thomé felt there was a lack of excitement in children’s wear and set out to create something playful, yet chic, to reflect the colorful personalities of little girls.
We at Dragonflies and Ladybugs Boutique have carried Lola et Moi for three seasons, and we are always amazed at the fun and vibrant collection produced each season. The quality and fabric of the clothing is amazing, and the collections are just fun and unique to fit each individual personality.
Continuing to captivate the imagination of the children’s clothing world, lola et moi designs are equally chic for at school or play – from a relaxed beach town to a bustling metropolis. With a faithful following in her home country of Lebanon and across Europe, Thomé is eager to continue her success in the Middle East region and particularly in Dubai – a major shopping destination.

I have two girls, and I found that even though they are both girls, they both do not love the frilly fun clothing, we all surmise young girls would love to wear. I have one that is more like a “Tom Boy” who loves her pants and shorts, and would not wear a dress to save her life! I have another that would wear her princess costume to school every day with her crown and wings and ballet slippers if I let her! So how do you satisfy both personalities? It can be difficult, especially when there is so much to choose from out there in the boutique world.
I did find a great brand that does satisfy the princess in my older daughter, and that is Ooh La La Couture. This boutique brand was started by two women who were childhood friends. As childhood friends, they had always shared a love of fashion and shopping. Now inspired by their own children, they set out to create a line of fun and funky, yet sweet and girly clothes that are comfortable enough to go with their active lifestyles. Ooh La La couture has created a fun and frilly line of clothing to satisfy the princess in all of our little girls.
Founded in 2004, they quickly began selling at local boutiques and are now available nationwide. With sizes available from Newborn through 10, your little fashionista is sure to find something exciting from Ooh! La, La! Couture.
We picked up this great brand for fall, and it is fun, colorful, and the closest to pettiskirts that we will ever carry. I love the fact that you can pair the poufy skirts with leggings to create a new look, and they are comfortable and soft, and are easy to care for. They have great colors, which consist of toile designs with browns and pinks, which we all love and adore, and hoody dresses to create a completely different and sporty style that will even satisfy the more “Tomboyish” little girl. Now both my girls can wear these and get plenty of wear still showing their own individual style. You can visit our store now and preorder yours for Fall 2008!!!!
We are really excited to have picked up Small Paul by Paul Frank collections at Dragonflies and Ladybugs Boutique. They have been a innovative and popular brand since the early 1990’s in the children’s fashion world.
In 1995 a small Huntington Beach garage was buzzing with activity. Friends were busy hand sewing wallets and handbags with scraps of Naugahyde. Characters with whimsical names like Julius and Skurvy were created to decorate these accessories, originally made as gifts. Little did this small collective know, the unprecedented excitement and interest in these adorable characters would soon thrust their little company to overnight success.

Born out of the need for a fun outlet celebrating creativity and individuality in Southern California, Paul Frank Industries (PFI) was formally incorporated in December of 1997. With its bright color palette and unique sensibilities, the company has attracted an almost cult-like following of all ages that love PFI’s witty take on every day objects. Take, for example, their use of Naugahyde. A vinyl that is more commonly associated with mid-century automobile seats, was hard to come by and completely unique to fashion accessories in 1995. Years later, Paul Frank still incorporates it into key pieces each season.
This fall we have added a great variety of products to our collection… hoodies, underwear, pajama’s, backbacks, and umbrella’s. We are really excited, and they start shipping to us in Late June.. so stay tuned for more of this great collection, as we know you will love it.

We are really excited this season to have added some really great designers to the store both online and in Reno, NV. This fall we are excited to announce that we will be carrying Coco Bonbons a fun and colorful and just all-around “yummy” children’s fashion line.
The first line presented by coco bonbons was for the Fall 2006 season, and it was an instant success! Over 100 stores chose the children’s clothing initially and that number has quickly multiplied.
Using a bright color palette and clever design features, coco bonbons has taken some of the universal loves of children and brought them to life on coats and separates. Parents will appreciate the quality fabrics and detailed embroidery of these wearable works-of-art while children will treat the clothes like a favorite toy—they won’t go anywhere without them.
The Founder, Coco Kyriopoulos, holds an MBA from University of Chicago, a BA from Vanderbilt University and a “MOM” from Charlie (4 years) and Phoebe (2 years). After 12 years in investment banking and business, she decided to combine her creative skills, business acumen, and love of children to start coco bonbons™. Inspired by her friends’ children and her own, Coco names each one of her designs after them and draws upon what they love most.
I just fell in love with the collection when I viewed it for fall, and I just loved the bright fun colors, and great mix and match pieces. I just thought it was really sweet and fun. I am excited to offer this to our customers, as I think the prices are great and the quality of the clothing is phenomenal.
